CARNIVAL OF YOUNG
JUDAEA ON SUNDAY

This Sunday, March 23, from
4 to 10, at the B'nai David Syna-
gogue, Elmhurst and 14th, the
Detroit Young Judaea groups
will have their Purim carnival
and bazaar.
Every adult and child • in the
community is invited, entertain-
ment being planned for all age
groups.
In addition to the usual carni-
val attractions there will be bin-
go, (lancing, a Palestinian exhibit,
and a Queen Esther Beauty Con-
test. Prizes will be awarded.
Admission is only 10 cents. All
of the money realized at this
affair will be donated to Keren
Ilanoar, the Scout movement in
Palestine.
Ruth Friedland is serving as
chairman of the carnival. Evelyn
Eiselman is assistant chairman.
The following Young Judaea
leaders assisted them: Esther
Duchin, Rose Pascal, Helen Kass,
Esther Charness, Anette Isaacs,
and Sadie Finkelstein.
