The Ilabonim recently com-
pleted six years of active work.
During this period it has grown
in number and in prominence.
There are now 175 members in
Ilabonim in Detroit.
The purpose of the Neshef is
to acquaint the Jews of Detroit
with what the group is doing.
The Neshef this year is a
grand production. All work from
the scenery and costumes to the
directors and actors was done
by members. The play to be pre-
sented is an original one depict-
ing the life of the Shomrim in
Palestine. The choir will give
an oratorio never presented in
America before. It is written by
an eminent Palestinian composer.
The members have also prepared
a puppet show.
