On Thursday, Feb. 20, Cincy
Sachs' Auto Club basketball team
and leader of the Triple A Divi-
sion of the Greater Detroit Bas-
ketball League, meets the Harlem
Globe Trotters, world's profes-
sional champions, in the feature
game of a triple-header to be
staged at the Naval Armory.
The Toledo All-Stars, featur-
ing Chuck Chuckovits, All-Ameri-
can at Toledo University, and
John Townsend, All-American
from University of Michigan, will
meet the Hong Wah Kues, All-
Chinese Basketball Team. In the
opening game Ditzler Color, the
leader in the Class A division and
dinner of 25 consecutive games,
will meet the colorful Selfridge
Field Fliers.
The feature game of the eve-
ning will give Detroit fans an
opportunity to compare the Auto
Club team with the Detroit
Eagles, the Globe Trotters hav-
ing defeated the Eagles in the
opening game of the season in
Detroit, and having gone on to
win 72 straight games to date.
Tickets are on sale at the
Automobile Club of Michigan,
139 Bagley; Griswold Sporting
Goods Store, 1134 Griswold; and
at the Naval Armory ticket office.
