Mr. and Mrs. William Plotkin of Taylor Ave. announced the
engagement of their daughter, Adele, to Murray A. Rudner, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Rudner of Hazelwood Ave., at a dinner party
for the immediate families. Mr. Rudner, who is a graduate of
Wayne University, is now completing his medical education at
Philadelphia, Pa.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Grant of 2670 Gladstone Ave. announce
the engagement of their sister, Miss Jean Meizler, to Sidney
Chortles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Charnes of 3236 W. Grand Ave.
Ruth Seedman's engagement to Irving E. Kaufman, son of

Two medical colleagues—Dr.
Bernice Kleinman, daughter of
Dr. and Mrs. Shmarya Kleinman
of Detroit, and Dr. Irving A.
Warren, son of Mrs. Isaac War-
ren of Toronto—both of whom
are on the staff of the Michael
Reese Hospital in Chicago, were
married on New Year's Day, at
an impressive ceremony at Hotel
Stotler. Rabbi Leon From and
Cantor J. H. Sonenklar offici-
ated.
A reception for 125 guests fol-
lowed the ceremony, at the Stot-
ler.
In the wedding party, in addi-
tion to the parents of the bride
and groom, were the bride's
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Zieman of Boston; Miss Leah
Perlmutter of Boston, maid of
honor; Miss Jacqueline Harris of
Boston, the bride's cousin, junior
bridesmaid; Abe Warren of To-
ronto, the groom's brother, best
man.
After a four weeks' honeymoon
in Havana, the newly weds will
return to Michael Reese Hospital
in Chicago to complete their ap-
pointments as members of the
staff.
In addition to the out-of-town
members of the bridal party,
guests' froin out of the city in-
cluded: Miss Florence Warren,
Sidney Warren, Mrs. Abe War-
