ATLANTIC CITY, N. J.—(Re-
ligious News Service)—A plea
to every Christian church in ev-
ery community to "create Chris-
tian attitudes toward the Jews,"
was voiced here by a Seminar
Commission on Anti-Semitism and
Refugees, held as part of the
joint meeting of the Federal
Council of the Churches of Christ
in America and six cooperating
inter-church bodies.
"We deplore the existence of
anti-Semitism in America," said
the plea, "and declare our oppo-
sition to it because it is con-
trary to the teachings and spirit
of Christ."
