Symphony Orchestra, and has been
awarded an appearance with the
orchestra, as soloist, on January
2, 1941.

larger seating capacity. The two
young artists, Martha Lipton, con-
tralto, and Mildred Waldman,
pianist, will be presented on Jan.
26, at 8 p. m., in the auditorium
of the Detroit Institute of Arts,
instead of at Temple Beth El,
as originally announced.
Captains and workers have been
appointed b3 the concert commit-
tee and the drive to make this
concert one of the outstanding
musical events of the season will
be launched at a meeting on Tues-
day, Dec. 17, at the YMCA, Mont-
calm and Witherell. This will be
in the form of a luncheonette
meeting at 1 p. m., complimentary
to all members and especially
honoring the many new members
who have joined the Music Study
Club this season.
An interesting program will be
presented by the following group
of new members: Miss Gertrude
Leve and Miss Marcia Hoffman,
vocalists, and Miss Florence Kut-
zen, pianist.
