Dinner This Sunday Memorial Park on
Sunday Afternoon
The annual donor dinner of

the Ladies of Yeshiva Beth Judah
will be held Sunday, Dec. 1, at
6 P. M., in the hall of Congrega-
tion Bnai David, Elmhurst and
14th.
' An excellent program has been
prepared. Rabbi Joshua S. Sperka
of Congregation Bnai David will
be the toastmaster. Rabbi Isaac

Webb

For many years there has been
a growing sentiment among the
members of Temple Beth El in
favor of a congregationally owned
and controlled cemetery. The con-
gregation has for almost the en-
tire period of its existence owned
what is known as the Lafayette
Cemetery, adjoining Elmwood, and
has also had exclusive use of
two sections in Woodmere Ceme-
tery. Recently, in response to the
wishes, especially of those mem-
bers who were not lot owners in
the existing cemeteries, a mag-
nificent site was purchased on Six
Mile Road, between Middlebelt
and Inkster, and for many months
engineers and landscape archi-
tects have been at work beauti-
fying the site which will hence-
forth be known as Beth El Me-
morial Park.
An unusually attractive fence
has been erected and plans have
been made for a most imposing
entrance to the Park. Already
quite a number of the members
of the Temple have purchased
burial sites where eventually their
beloved dead will rest.
Beth El Memorial Park will be
officially dedicated this Sunday
afternoon, Dec. 1, at 3 o'clock.
The exercises will take place in
the Administration Bldg., which
has already been erected. When
