Last Monday night, a meeting
of the workers in the city-wide
Bnai Brith membership drive was
held in the Book Cadillac Hotel.
This meeting was addressed by
William Friedman, active in com-
munal affairs, for 30 years a
member of Pisgah Lodge, one of
the local representatives of the
Bnai Brith Anti-Defamation
League in Detroit.
Detroit is joining in the na-
tional Bnai Brith membership
drive with all four lodges par-
ticipating under the direction of
the Greater Detroit Bnai Brith
Council, which comprises of Pis-
gah Lodge, Louis Marshall Lodge,
Detroit Lodge and Theodor Herzl
Lodge. Aaron Droock, past presi-
dent of District Grand Lodge
No. 6, is the local membership
director. Every male Jew, 21 years
or older of good character is eli-
gible for membership in the Bnai
Brith.
