The Detroit chapter of Hadas-
sah will hold an Oneg Shabbat
Saturday, Nov. 9, at 2 o'clock, in
the social hall of the Shaarey
Zedek, honoring the National
Hadassah Sabbath.
The program will be featured
by a review of Maurice Samuel's
"The Great Hatred" by Isaac
Franck, educational director of
the Jewish Community Center.
Mrs. Max Dushkin will conduct
current events and Mrs. Jacob
Sauls will lead a community sing.
Mrs. Walter Field is chairman
of the program.
Mrs. Edward Jacobs of New
York, national vice-president of
Hadassah, will be the guest
speaker at the annual paid up
membership luncheon of the chap-
ter on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 12
o'clock, at the Shaarey Zedek.
Mrs. Jacobs was among the first
and youngest of the original Ha-
dassah group and went to Pales-
tine for the first time in 1914 on
her wedding trip and has since
been there 11 times. She was ap-

the fulfillment of the quota. Mrs.

where she made an intensive

Business and Professional Wom-
en's Division of Hadassah at 8
p. m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at
the Standard Club Rooms in the
Book Cadillac Hotel. Junior Ha-
dassah, Little Women of Hadas-
sah and intersted visitors are in-
vited to attend this meeting.

tette, composed of Ralph Freed-
man, 1st violin, Alex Robinson,
2nd violin, Ralph Kramer, cello,
