Violet Goodfriend and Dr.

29. Rabbi Leo Franklin and
Rabbi Moses Fischer performed
the ceremony.
Miss Goodfriend is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Good-
friend of Fairfield Ave., and Dr.
Berck is the son of Mrs. Mollie
Berck of Des Moines, Ia.
The bride's only attendant was
her cousin, Miss Sylvia Haydu,
and Max Berck of Des Moines,
Ia., served his brother as best
man.
Besides the groom's mother,
Mrs. Mary Berkowitz, Mr. and
Mrs. Max Berck, Mrs. E. Cohen
and son, Stanley, and daughter,
Phyllis, came from Des Moines
to attend the wedding. Mr. and
Mrs. Alex Goodfriend, Hugo
