hold a pep rally on Monday,
Sept. 30, at 1 p, m., at the home
of Mrs. Reuben Allender, 19379
Warrington Drive.
Plans wilr be discusse'd for the
annual dinner dance to be held
at the Statler Hotel, Sunday eve-
ning, Oct. 20.
This is the major fund raising
project of the year.

DR. BERNICE KLEINMAN

Dr. and Mrs. Schmarya Klein-
man of Calvert Ave., announce
the engagement of their daugh-
ter, Dr. Bernice Kleinman, to
Dr. Irving Warren, son of Mrs.
Isaac Warren, of Toronto, Ont.
The bride-to-be was graduated
from the medical school of the
University of Michigan last June
and met Dr. Warren a few weeks
later at Michael Reese Hospital,
Chicago, where she has a two-
year interneship and he is a res-
ident physician in charge of the
internal medicine department.
The marriage is planned for Jan-
uary.

All members and friends of
Zedakah Club are invited to
hear Mrs. Morris Adler, who
will review Stefan Zweig's "Bur-
ied Candelabrum" on Monday,
Sept. 30, at 1 p. m., at the
meeting at the home of Mrs.
Kolman Shapiro, 18625 Wilde-
mere.
Zedakah Club acknowledges a
donation made by Mrs. J. Har-
with.
Mrs. M. Gourwitz, chairman
of the paid-up luncheon for mem-
bers, has completed all arrange-
ments for this affair to be held
on Monday, Oct. 14, at the Jew-
ish Community Center.
