The new school semester which
began immediately after Labor
Day brought a large influx of

new pupils to all branches of the
United Hebrew Schools.
Arrangements are being made
for the opening of additional
classes for beginners as well as
for more advanced students. Spe-
cial Bar Mitzvah classes have
also been organized in all the
branches, with classes where
teachers devote all their time to
the preparation of the Haftorah
and everything pertaining to the
