Trees Planted in
Palestine Forests

Miss Bella Gorzeck, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip J. Gor-
zeck of Gladstone Ave., became
the bride of Hyman Morginofsky,
son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Morgin-
ofsky on Sunday, Aug. 25, at
the Wilshire Hotel. Rabbi Isaac
Stollman performed the cere-
mony.
The bridesmaids were: Frieda
Saymoss, Anne Stoneman and
Ida Milstein. The ushers were
Al Saymoss, Jack Stoneman and
Barney Shuman. Mrs. M. Bar-
nett was matron of honor, and
Morris Barnett was best man.
The bride's gown was of ivory
satin with a sweetheart neckline
and cut on princess lines with a
long train. The veil was lace-
trimmed net with headpiece of
rhinestones and pearls.
The couple left for a trip
through Ohio.

The new school semester which
began immediately after Labor
Day brought a large influx of
new pupils to all branches of the
United Hebrew Schools.
Arrangements are being made
for the opening of additional
classes for beginners as well as
for more advanced students. Spe-
cial Bar Mitzvah classes have
also been organized in all the
branches, with classes where
teachers devote all their time to
the preparation of the Haftorah
and everything pertaining to the
Bar Mitzvah ceremony.
The branches of the United
Hebrew Schools are located as

The new Hebrew school build-
ing is located at 13226 Lawton

the office is open for registra-
tion from 3 to 8 p. m., and on
Sunday morning from 9:30 a. m.
