Children of Beth
El School Honor
Rabbi Leon Fram
On the eve of the closing of
the Temple Beth El Schools for
the year, the children surprised
Rabbi Leon Fram by making
note of the fact that he will
soon mark his 15th anniversary
of service with the Temple.
In a statement which the chil-
dren have published in "Bethel-
ite," their school organ, they
state:
"The years which have passed
since you came to us from Chi-
cago have brought numerous
changes in our school. With you
as our Rabbi and Director of Re-
ligious Education, we have made
such rapid strides that Beth El
now has one of the nilest schools
in the country.
"We have been proud to have
you, a prominent figure in religi-
ous, educational, and civic affairs,
as our staunch supporter, kindly
advisor, eloquent preacher and
faithful friend.
"May you continue to guide us
and serve the congregation well
for many years to come."
In the same issue of "Bethel-
ite," Rabbi Fram is honored in a
sermonette of two and a half
columns, written by Rhoda Fen-
berg, under the title, 'The Man
in Our Midst."
