"The group seems to have concen-
trated Its attack on several issues t hat
are both Insincere and unjustifiable. The
so-called reorganization plan Is featured
as the major issue. The Injection of
1 he reorganization plan In this cam-
paign is Incomprehensible to me and
to anyone who has followed Zionist
events during the past year. I had t he
privilege of serving RS a member of
t he Committee on Reorganization ap-
pointed by t he chairmen Of t he Ad-
ministrative Council of t he Z. 0. A.
This committee has formulated the
only definite Man of reorganization.
"This entire effort seems to lie rem-
iniscent of a similar campaign con-
ducted. some 12 years ago, when 'A
'ommit tee for the Reorganization of
t lie Zionist Organizat ion of A Illericie
Was created under the leadership of
Robert Szold and 01 hers of t he so-
ea lied Brandeis group. This group was
subsequently entrusted with t he lead-
ership of t he Zionist Organizat ion. The
aceoznplisliments of t hat group during
its term of office is a matter of record.
During t he administration of that
group, the Zionist membership dropped
to the lowest figure in t he history of
1 he movement and t he morale of t he
organization, to its lowest point. After
twin years, t his group relinquished of-
fice, leaving t he Zionist Organizat ton
in a state of utter demoralization and
on the verge of dissolution.
"Another objective of t his group is
to create the Impression t hat the Zion-
ist offices are run by a few paid officials
whose sole purpose Is to keep them-
selves in office. It Is t he favorite pas-
t line of certain tercet; to hurl accusa-
tions at the paid servants of the Zion-
ist movement.
"Anyone familiar with

that t he entire executive staff consists
of only five persons. The staff is con-
ceded to be very- much utniertnanned

this small executive staff t hat it can
serve a membership exceeding 50.000
with such satisfactory' results. '10 make

"There is a definite attempt In this
propaganda to array the country at
large against New York and, for t he
first time, to introduce sect ionallstn in
American Zionism. The members of the
Zionist administ rat Ion are elected at
Zionist conventions which are usually
held at a distant city from New York.

the country. The Executive of the Zion-

of representatives front practically every
section of t he country and is therefore
national in character. Should I tr.

because he resides in New York instead

destroy this principle.
"A re we to bring on Civil '''fir and
a Mason and Dixon line in Zionism ?
The world is already aflame with preju-
dices and sectionalism of all sorts.
Zionism should rise above these evils.
"If t hose responsible for these an -
nonyMous attacks are really anxious to
serve the Zionist Cause, why are they
resorting to methods which must create
dissension and ill-feeling?
"I believe that Zionists throughuor

which this. campaign entails. It is
most unfortunate, If not tragic, that
at this time when t he democracies of

NEW YORK. (WNS \ — The
necessity for the establishment
of a united front of all organiza-
tions and fiarties in American
Zionism to cope with the emer-
gency problems arising out of
the war, affecting both Palestine
and the position of the Jews in
the Diaspora, was stressed in an
address delivered by Louis Lipsky
at a dinner given in his honor
by the Order Sons of Zion to
mark the inauguration of a na-
tional camp bearing his name.
Mr. Lipsky denounced attempts
now being made to "create divi-
sion and sectional animosith s"
in the Zionist Organization of
America at a time when problems
involving the fate of Palestine
and the entire Jewish people
should engage the attention of
the movement. He deplored the
"propaganda of depreciation"
which he said was being carried
on in effort to belittle the
achievements of the Zionist Or-
ganization and its leadership.
