old, died on May 23. Funeral
services were held on May 24
with interment at the Chesed
Shel Emes Cemetery. He is sur-
vived by five sons, Julius and
Samuel of Los Angeles, David
of San Francisco, Nat of Chi-
cago and Charles P. of Detroit;
three daughters, Mrs. Sarah Har-
ris, Mrs. Dorothy Caplan and
Mrs. Mary Siegel, all of Detroit;
two brothers, Max and Meyer,
both of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs.
Pearl Pols of New York and
Mrs. Jennie Poster of Chicago;
eight grandchildren and one
great-grandchild. Rev. Nathanson
had lived in Detroit for 27 years.
He was a Hebrew teaches' and
conducted services at the Beth
Joseph Synagogue.
Final details were completed
last Friday by the general chair-
man, Mrs. Moe Leiter, and tier
co-chairmen and their commit-
tees, for the luncheon, mah jong
