in the Roosevelt Public School.

Thursday evening, performances
were given in two schools, the
Fenkell School at Parkside and
Midland, and the Brady Public
School, at Joy Rod and Lawton.
The next and last Passover
program will be given by the

auditorium of the Winterhalter
Public School on the last

Cultural Group of Detroit,
completed arrangements for the
annual Passover celebration to
be held Saturday evening, April
27, in the Philadelphia-Byron
School.
A fine program has been pre-
pared for this occasion by the
cultural committee of the Kvut-
zah, headed by Abraham Twe•-
sky.
Refreshments will be served.
All people who understand He-
brew are invited to attend this
Kvutzah celebration.

Neugarten Sunshine Club
Party to Be Held May 1

The spring fund-raising proj-
ect of the Neugarten Sunshine
Club will be closed at the May
party, which will be held at
Fyfe's Auditorium on May 1.
Mrs. Martin Krauss is chair-
man of ways and means.
The May pity will give mem-
bers and friends an opportunity
to enjoy an afternoon of bridge
and mah jong and other forms of
entertainment.
Dessert luncheon will be served
at 1 o'clock and prizes wil be
awarded. Tickets may be secured
from members.

Mlawer Umgegend Verein
Auxiliary's Mother-Daugh-
ter Banquet on May 8

The Ladies' Auxiliary of the
Mlawer Umgegend Verein will
sponsor a mother and daughter
banquet Wednesday evening, May
8, at the Wilshire Hotel. Mrs.
Israel Burnstein, chairman, and
Mrs. A. Shanbom, co-chairman,
are planning the program of en-
tertainment. There will be music
for dancing after the banquet.

Woman's Auxiliary of the Jewish
Children's Home will be held on
Wednesday, May 1, at 1 p. m.,
at the Home, Burlingame and
Petoskey Ayes. Mrs. Jack Tobin,

The Tamburitza Orchestra, un-
