In the final weeks before its
15th annual concert on May 5,
the Halevy Singing Society sched-
uled several extra rehearsals to
replace those missed because of
Passover, and to permit the Hal-
evy director, Dan Frohman, to
put the finishing touches on the
elaborate program which is to be
presented. This task has been
made somewhat more difficult be-
cause of the inability of William
Gayman, Halevy president and
assistant director, to participate
in the choral activities because
of ill health.
