Another happy day was spent
by a large group of Tamakwa
campers, counselors and their
friends at the opening baseball
game between the Detroit Tig-
ers and the St. Louis Browns
at Briggs Stadium last Tues-
day, April 16.
One of the loyal Tamakwa
daddies, Albert Bluestein, took
advantage of the occasion to get
reacquainted with the boys and
he joined them in all their fun.
Even though the Tigers lost,
the game, the warm sun, the
excellent seats and the friendly
companionship of the boys was
sufficient to make the day an
exceptionally good one. The
boys were guests of the camp
at this game and everyone is
looking forward to going again
when the New York Yankees
come to Detroit for their first
Saturday game:

It is the old lesson—a worthy
purpose, patient energy for its
accomplishment, a resoluteness
undaunted by difficulties, and
then success. Punshon.
