COCHRANE NEW YORK. — Strongly con- demning Communists both here and abroad as "blood brothers of the Nazis," the Non-Sectarian nti-Nazi League, through its Council of Organizations meet- ing at Pythian Temple, passed a resolution by acclamation which identified the Soviet and Nazi governments as allies cooperating morally, economically and in an indirect military way. The unanimous resolution of almost 300 delegates representing 150 organizations affiliated with the Non - Sectarian anti - Nazi League demonstrated the deci- sion on the part of the oldest anti-Nazi group in the United States to refuse to accept the so-called neutrality stand offered by the Soviet government. He urged all Americans to "sleep peace- fully" while the danger of Naz- ism and Nazi-inspired groups in- creases, but to work together to stop the tide of Fascism before the situation grows acute. "Hate, Inc.," a novel kind of corporation, was described by Morris D. Forkosch, member of the Legal Committee of the Non- Sectarian Anti-Nazi League: Pres- ident Adolf Hitler; vice president, Joseph Stalin; treasurer, Benito Mussolini; corresponding secre- tary, Father Coughlin. Mr. For- kosch described the legal activi- ties of the Non-Sectarian Anti- Nazi League in combatting the activities of Fascist groups here. • COMMENTARY The question that interests us is who was supposed to be sup- plying the $150,000 which the un-American Col. Emerson prom- ised William Dudley Pelley if he would line up 15,000 pro-Nazis in this country . . . Recently, by the way, a story reached our ears that what started Pelley on his anti-Semitic path was his dismis- sal from a lucrative writing post in Hollywood quite some years ago . . . It soured him on the Jewish movie moguls, and in his big-hearted way Dudley soon in- cluded all Jews in his hate . . Winchell declares that the reason why Unity Mitford, long bally- hooed as Hitler's ideal of Nordic womanhood, shot herself is that she grew despondent when the realization finally dawned on her that the Nazis were trying to use her to win over English public opinion . . . Have you heard the rumor that the cancellation of that recent Coughlin broadcast was due not to political reasons or ecclesiastic censorship, but to the circumstance that the good Fa- ther, who had just returned from a rather lively excursion into Canada, was incapacitated from facing the microphone? 25 YEARS IN DETROIT 11301 WOODWARD AVE.
