AMSTERDAM. (WNS) —A re-
port received here stated that all
Jews have been forbidden to leave
any part of Greater Germany.
No exceptions will be made in
the case of Jews who have al-
ready obtained visas to other
countries or in the case of state-
less Jews, it was said.
The new decree was reported
to have come as a terrible blow
to the Jews in Nazi-dominated
territories since they had en-
visaged emigration as their sole
means of escape from certain ex-
termination.
Meanwhile, it was learned that
Nazi officials in Germany are
openly expressing dissatisfaction
with the Soviet-Nazi pact, charg-
ing that Jewish Communists in
Russia are wielding too much in-
fluence and are directly respon-
sible for the failure of the past
to operate successfully.

The Nazi government has re-
newed its campaign against Com-
munists, separating Jewish and
non-Jewish Communists into two
different concentration camps.
The report stated that worse
punishment is inflicted on the few
Jewish Communists.
Refugees arriving here said
that Jews in Vienna look more
like skeletons than human be-
ings. They reported that Jews
in Austria are even worse off
than they are in Germany, point-
ing out that all Jewish tradesmen
and professionals in Austria have
been forbidden to do any work
at all. These Jews have been
deprived of every conceivable
source of income.
300 grams of bread every two
days. Meat cannot be purchased
in any part of Nazi Poland since
the Nazis have shipped all cattle
to Germany for the use of the
army. Prices of bread, potatoes
and milk are prohibitive.
There has been a fearful in-
crease in the number of insanity
cases among Jews in Warsaw,
with many asylums in the former
Polish capital refusing to accept
new patients because of the over-
crowded conditions. The Jewish
insane asylum at Otwock is so
overcrowded that many patients
are not receiving treatment.
The baking of matzoth for
Passover will be permitted in all
parts of Soviet-occupied Poland,
it was learned here. Factories
have been geared to produce 80
pounds of matzoth for every 10
Jewish families. The matzoth will
be purchased for the Jews by
outside Jewish relief agencies.

Four hundred thousand Jews in
Nazi-occupied Poland have been
driven out of their homes by the
Nazis, secret anti-Nazi broadcasts
emanating from Germany dis-
closed here.
The broadcast stated that 300
synagogues in Nazi Poland have
been destroyed or converted into
Nazi army barracks since the
Nazi invasion last September.
Several hundred holy scrolls were
burned and 50 Jewish hospitalls
were taken over by the Nazi
authorities. The Jewish patients,
regardless of their condition,
were compelled to leave and the
invading Nazi troops moved in.
The same source disclosed also
that more than 6,000 young Jew-
ish girls have disappeared from
their homes and never have been
seen again. These girls, it was
said, were taken off the streets,
packed into military trucks and
transported to military brothels.
Expulsions from Lodz
Enforced expulsions of Jews
from the terribly overcrowded
Jewish ghetto in the Balut quar-
ter of Lodz show no signs of
diminishing. Approximately 6,000
Jews, it was learned here, were
expelled last week, most of them
being shipped to the Jewish "res-
ervation" in Lublin.
At least 50 Jews were killed
and several hundred wounded in
a three-day pogrom last month
in the Jewish ghetto of Lodz.
According to reliable estimates,
the daily death rate of Jews in
Lodz has risen to 200 from the
normal rate of 20.
Though hardly conceivable, the
conditions in the Lublin Jewish
"reservation," as described here
by refugees, are much worse
than they are in any other part
of Nazi Poland. Housing condi-
tions defy description with as
many as eight persons living in
one room and many Jews spend-
ing countless nights in the
streets.
Food rations allowed Jews in
Warsaw have been reduced to
