YOUTH TO DISCUSS "SOCIAL
PHILOSOPHIES" ON SUNDAY

Will Be Addressed by Rabbi
Morris Adler

Second Youth Speaks Program to Be Held at Jewish
Community Center

Elliott Roosevelt
At Cass Town Hall

Elliott Roosevelt, radio execu-
tive, commentator and analyst
of public events, will speak be-
fore the Detroit Town Hall, at
the Cass Theater, Thursday morn-
ing (a changed time from Good
Friday), March 21, at 11 o'clock,
on the subject "America Looks
Ahead."
Mr. Roosevelt, though he is
the second son of the President,
is promnient ill his own right
and is known as an excellent
speaker and an interesting com-
mentator on current events.
Mr. Roosevelt was born in
New York 30 years ago, received
his schooling in New York City,
attended Groton Academy, passed
his examination to Princeton Uni-
versity but never entered the UM-
v.irsity for he decided to blaze

his own trail. The advertising
business in New York showed
what patronage his social position
meant and being bent on personal
independence went west and
ranched it, until as manager of
an air-line he entered active busi•
ness, and later went to Texas
and developed the Texas Stage
network.

Rabbi Morris Adler will be the
