Tuesday evening, Feb. 27, the
usual procedure will be reversed,
when the fathers are feted by
their sons, as Perfection Chap-
ter, Order of DeMolay, holds its
seventh annual Father and Son
banquet, at the Knights of
Pythias Hall, John R. and Er-
skine, at 7 p. m.
Guest speakers for the eve-
ning are to be Rabbi Joshua S.
Sperka and Harry Lyons, former
director of athletics of the Grand
Council of Order of DeMolay.
Other guests include Harold F.
Koch, active member of Grand
Council, Order of DeMolay for
the State of Michigan; Harry B.
Jones, Detroit district deputy,
and Toby David of radio station
CKLW. Master of ceremonies
will be Sam Mann of Perfection
Chapter.
Activities of the evening in-
clude the presentation of repre-
sentative DeMolay awards to
Newton Friedman and Milton
Horowitz, the showing of the
official American League baseball
pictures, "Touching All Bases,"
and community singing.

Again this year the Detroit
Builders Show being held from
Feb. 16 through 25 gives the
Motor City the honor of staging
the largest home show in the
nation, both from the standpoint
of total display space and also
in total expected attendance, ac-
cording to Kenneth D. McGregor,
show manager.
All four rings of Convention
Hall and both annexes are filled
with interesting and educational
displays, covering every phase of
the home building, home design-
ing and home furnishing fields

with more than 500 different ex-
hibits.
One of the outstanding fea-
tures of this great 10-day show
is a 5-room model home laleh
has been built complete inside
Convention Hall by Joseph Holtz-
man, Detroit builder.
The Detroit Builders' Show
will remain open through Sunday',
Feb. 25, from 10 a. m. to 1 0
