in the face of such a situation.

A thrilling drama of Jewish
achievements and of heroic Jew-
ish efforts to rebuild the National
Homeland in peace and war.
This Carmel sound film, with
music by Palestinian composers
recorded in Eretz Israel, shows
authentic, gripping scenes on
land, sea and in the air, recorded
during the recent struggles as
the pioneers worked and fought
to build and extend a Homeland
for the homeless refugees from
the war zone.
The new picture is not a prod-
uct of the imagination but a stir-
ring drama of actual life, enacted
on the screen by the builders and
defenders of the Jewish National
Home.
Conquest of the soil by the
Jewish pioneers is one of the im-
pressive elements depicted in this
film. In "A Homeland in the
Making" the audience sees the
young men and women who
played a thrilling part in this
great work of reconquering the
soil. More than one-third of the
land settled by Jews of Palestine
