We cooperated with the Jewish W elf are Federation, HIAS, Los Angeles Sanatorium, Chesed shel Emes and other movements. We took active part in the work for the new Jewish Home for Aged and have been actively interested in the cause of a Jewish hospital movement. "During the last war, the Turo- ver taxed each member 20 cents a month for relief purposes, Later, the 360 members assisted needy during the depression. "Turover Aid Society has its own home on Marston and Mel- rose, its own cemetery which was purchased for $8,000, and makes arrangements for 'special funds for all worthy purposes.
