The bride, who was given in
marriage by her brother, Dr. A.
1. Kapetansky, was gowned in
ivory satin fashioned on princess
lines with high neck line and a
long train. Iler head dress was a
pointed crown studded with seed'
pearls and imitation diamonds

She carried a bouquet of white
Madonna roses with an orchid in-1
serted in the center arranged at- '

love knots and lilies of the valley
attached.
Mrs. Kate Kalman, sister of
the bride, . was the matron of
honor, and Miss Evelyn Kalman
was maid of honor. The brides-
maids were Miss Phyllis Kapetan-
sky, Miss Sarah Nolan, and Mrs.
Helen Leib.
Sidney Leib, brother of the
bridegroom. was the best man,
and the ushers were Albert Kal-
man, Manny Seder, and Meyer
Leib.
After the ceremony dinner was
served to 300 guests. Following
the dinner a reception was held
for 400 guests.
Dr. and Mrs. George Leib left
for a wedding trip to Chicago.

Los Angeles Sanatorium and Ex-
Patients Home announces that its
annual bazaar and carnival will
he held at the Bnai Moshe Cen-
ter, Dexter and Lawrence, from
Saturday evening, Dec. 2, to Sun -
day, Dec. 10.
An entertaining program has
been arranged for the opening
which will take place at 8 p. tn.
Samuel .1. Leve, director of the
Bureau of Investigation,
and
prominent civic leaders have been
invited. Entertainers of note Veil
appear.
An invitation has been extend-
ed to 175 organizations to attend
this event en masse. The auxil -
iary requests that this invitation
be accented and that all societies
attend this function, for the bene-
fit of helpless men, women and
children, afflicted with tubercu-
losis.
The public is asked to patron-
ize the bazaar. Attractions have
been prepared for every evening.

those attending are asked to bring
merchandise for the new, enlarged
Resale Shop at 201 Clifford.
Toys and children's apparel are
needed especially at this season
of the year. A holiday drive for
these items as well as men's and
women's clothing, furniture, books,
jewelry and household equipment
is being made by the Resale Shop

Following the dessert-luncheon,
the Council program committee
will present Frederick Snyder of
Kingston, N. Y., speaker and
originator of the "verbal news-
paper," who will discuss " Keep-
ing Ahead of the Headlines." A
commentator of note, Mr. Snyder
has appeared twice before the
Cass Theater Town Hall.
Members of the Council are
