DETROIT BNAI BRITH LEADERS GREET DELEGATES
TO 71ST ANNUAL CONVENTION OF DISTRICT NO. 6

(CONCLUDED FROM PAGE ONE)

On behalf of the Business and
Professional Women's Auxiliary
of Bnai Brith, and on the mo-
mentous occasion of the Bnai
With convention, it would be
well for all of us to renew our
pledge of devotion to others, who
through the shock of foreign con-
flict are not as fortunate as we
are. At the same time we should
pay tribute to the able and ex-
perienced leaders of American
Jewry who are responsible for
the existence of Bnai Brith
organizations, These groups have
been an effective force in awak-
ening those of our Jewish people
who, although recognizing our
inescapable responsibilities, are
passive and dormant where work
and unity of action is concerned.
Every Jewish person should be
sworn to this same union of
strength. Continued support of
our organizations and by our
hosts of friends is a vital neces-
sity.

for Detroit Lodge No. 1374 to
