The Lawrence H. Jones Post No. 190 of the Jewish War
Veterans of the United States is being widely lauded for
sponsoring the essay contest among boys and girls in religious
and Sunday Schools on the subject "Flag D•y-What It
Means to Me."
Many valuable prizes will be ■ awarded by • committee
of prominent judges for the best and moat original essays
on this subject.

The contest will close officially on June 5. Awards will
be made to the winners on Flag Day, June 14.
Prizes will be awarded to boys and girls in the following
age groups: Class A, 7 to 10; Class B, 11 to 13; Class C, 14
to 16.

Entry blanks for the contest are available in the con-
gregations
and Hebrew Schools of this city. Each blank must
state the name and address of the participant and the school
he or she attends. The essays are to be submitted to Ameri-
