On a rocky hilltop in the wilder-
ness of Judea, 10 miles out of
Jerusalem, Jewish pioneers have
courageously begun the establish-
ment of a new settlement—Givaat
Ilahamisha. The barren earth has
not yet been made to give of her
fruit. Laboring under a burning
sun, on the spot where five of
their brethren, in whose memory
the new colony is named., were
slaughtered in October, 1937,
