In this statement is to be found a most
emphatic refutation of the charge that
refugees in England are parasites, just as
the survey of true conditions in this as
well as other countries will show that in-
stead of becoming a burden these refugees
are an asset to the lands receiving them.
It is unfortunate that malicious rumors
are being disseminated at a time when
traditional havens of refuge should once
again revert to their historic roles of serv-
ing as the saviors of the oppressed. The
truth must be told, if these rumors are to
be spiked.

Let no one be fooled into believing that
the world swallows willingly the Nazi
propaganda, and that mankind approves
of the inhuman acts which were perpe-
trated in Germany in November.
The drop in Nazi exports of 12:5 per
cent in one month is the best proof of the
world's reaction.
Germany's exports dropped from 504,-
100,000 marks in December to 441,300,000
marks in January.
Here is the best explanation for the
sudden Nazi "kindness" in agreeing to a
plan for Jewish emigration.
It is clear that Germany's motive is to
break the boycott, to use Jews as tools
for increasing her foreign trade — in a
word, to use blackmail to accomplish her
purpose.
While the negotiations are being con-
cluded with the Nazis, there is one thing
to remember: a strong Germany under
the
Hitler means the death of
enslavement of the women, the suppression
of labor, the oppression of minorities, the
persecution of religion.
Therefore, Nazism must be hit where it
will feel the blows.
The boycott is the weapon.
