Heads brotherhood
on Feb. 19
The annual charity banquet of
the Detroit Ladies Lechem Aniyim
Society will be held at Congrega-
tion Bnai David Feb. 19, at 7
p. m. For reservations call Mrs.
Wienstein, Townsend 5-8718, chair-
man of tickets.
Committees are being sent to
all Jewish organizations to in-
vite them to come and see for
themselves the work this group
of women are doing for the Jewish
poor of Detroit. The president,. Mrs
Milinsky, asks that if an organ-
ization is overlooked that its offi-
cers call the secretary, Mrs. Gold-
berg, Trinity 2-0940, for reserva-
tions for its committee.
Dinner of Sr. Bicur Cholem
Jan. 29
Senior Bicur Cholem will hold
its yearly banquet on Sunday,
Jan. 29, at Bnai Moshe Syna-
gogue, Dexter at Lawrence. The
society asks all organizations to
send committees to represent
them. It also appeals to all mem-
bers and their families to come
to the dinner and help make it
a success.
