A number of groups affiliated
with the Detroit chapter of Ha-
dassah have been meeting weekly
under group leaders, for the pur-
pose of studying and discussing
the work of Hadassah and other
Zionist organizations. These cul-
tural groups will combine for a
joint meeting Tuesday, Jan. 3, at
10:30 p. m., at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek. Rabbi Eric Fried-
land of Pontiac will conduct the
joint group meeting.
Mrs. Nathan Kaplan, chairman
of the education committee, an-
nounces that there is room for ad-
ditional members with some of the
groups. Members of Hadassah
who are desirous of extending their
knowledge of Palestinian affairs
and culture should communicate
with Mrs. Kaplan, 2911 Webb Ave.,

formation respecting available
courses of study and meeting time
and places of the various groups.
Mrs. David Feinberg and Mrs.
Benjamin Kiefer, co-chairmen of
the sewing group working on Pal-
