A native of Lomza. Poland,
where he was born in 1871, the

wich Morrison, he came to this
country in 1886. Ile was gradu-

versity, Law School in 1896 and
admitted to the New York bar
that year. In 1905 Mr. Morri-
son became senior member of the
law firm of Morrison & Schiff.
In 1913 he married Miss Dora
Levy, daughter of Bernard and
Esther Levy of New York.
For several years he was
prominently identified with the
Jewish Theological Seminary of
America and was a member of
the board of directors. Also he

United Synagogues of America
from 1928 to 1934.
Mr. Morrison was a member of
