Solomon Urges Prompt Payment .
On Pledges to Allied Campaign
Harry R. Solomon, chairman of the collection committee
of the Jewish Welfare Federation, has issued a statement
urging prompt payment on pledges made to the 1938 Allied
Jewish Campaign. His statement follows:
"When yo
it budget expenses for your August vacation,
may we remind mu to include the following item: 'PAYMENT
ON ALLIED 'WISH CAMPAIGN PLEDGE'?
"During va ition months we all try to forget routine prob-
lems and bu nese worries. Consequently, many of us are
apt to forget our obligations also. But, in Europe and Pales-
tine the organizations we support depend upon our commit-
ment no matter what the weather, and the regular expendi-
tures of our local agencies continue summer and winter. There-
fore, the collection committee urges you to mail your check
to the Jewish Welfare Federation, 61 West Warren Ave..
