WELCOME ZIONIS

Chrysler Corporation takes great pleasure in extending a hearty welcome to members of the
World Zionist Convention. We hope that your days in Detroit will be very happy ones.

SINCE Chrysler Corporation was formed in 1925, one of its
fundamental policies has been to know what people want and to
produce quality passenger cars and trucks, leaders in the automo-
tive world, at prices in line with what people are willing to pay.

How successful this policy has been is indicated by the fact
that in-the. last thirteen years more than six million Chrysler-
built vehicles have been sold.
Such public acceptance of the corporation's products is vin-
dication for the millions of dollars invested in research labora-
tories, experimental equipment, special testing devices, and of
the millions of hours spent on the problems of longer car-life
and lower operating costs, which are behind each Plymouth,
Dodge, De Soto and Chrysler.
Year after year Chrysler Corporation has made new contribu-
tions to motoring comfort, economy, safety and enjoyment.
With its first car, it introduced the high compression engine

and four-wheel hydraulic brakes now demanded in every car.
Safety steel bodies were pioneered by a division of the corpo-
ration. Patented floating power engine mountings practically
eliminated vibration. Scientific weight distribution introduced -
by Chrysler Corporation has influenced the whole industry.
Full length water jackets, directional circulation, calibrated ig-
nition, oil filters, air cleaners, and many other improvements
have resulted in savings in operating expense and added to the
quality and value of Chrysler-built vehicles.

These are only a few of the fundamental advances in auto-
mobile construction which have come out of the engineering
laboratories of Chrysler Corporation.

But it is because of them that millions of Plymouth, Dodge,
De Soto and Chrysler owners have come to know that, "You
get the good things first from Chrysler Corporation."
