"Where Vacation Dreamt Come True"

the two organizations on Sunday
night, June 26, aboard the Great-
er Buffalo, one of the two lamest
ships on any inland waters. The
ship will leave the dock at the foot
of Wayne St. at 6:15 0. m. and
will cruise down the Detroit river
and out into Lake Erie and re-
turn.
Serving of dinner will begin at
6:15 p. m. with the second dinner
scheduled for 7 p. In. An exten-
sive program of entertainment
has been arranged for the amuse-
ment of those aboard. Tours of
the ship will be conducted by staff
officers. "Snow White and the
Seven Dwarfs," directed by Cecil
Berdun of the Roth & Berdun
School of Entertainment, will be
one of the featured attractions.
This entertainment will be held in
the Grand Salon on Deck "B" so
that it can be viewed from the
baclonies on Decks "C" and "1)".
In addition, there will be danc-
ing in the Greater Buffalo's new
skyline Ballroom, largest and
most elaborate room of its kind
to be found on the Great Lakes.
Music for dancing will be fur-
nished by one of Detroit's most
popular dance bands. Tables for
cards will be arranged in various
salons about the ship.

of the Jewish National Fund Com-
mittee for the planting of trees
in Palestine.
Afforestation in Palestine is an
important feature of the work be-
ing done there. Without the vari-
ous forest projects which provide
drainage for swampy areas, and
retain the rain supply, conserv-
ing soil and beautifying the land,
the resettleenent of the country
would be seriously handicapped.
Hadassah has rendered consider-
able assistance to the Jewish Na-
tional Fund in this phase of Its
activities.

given by Congregation Beth El
