WISE TO ADDRESS NOMINATING CONVENTION OF AMERICAN JEWISH CONGRESS AT - Louis J. Goodman CASS,TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL TUESDAY, MAY 31 In tribute to his remarkable sales record. Louis J. Goodman, the well known life insurance spe- cialist, was honored by his com- pany, the Mutual Life Insurance Co. of New York, by being se- lected to attend the president's luncheon, to be held in San Fran- cisco on June 2 and 3. The affair is given annually by the company and in order to qualify for at- tendance, representatives must write a minimum of a quarter of a million of insurance. "Lou" has been in the insur- ance business but eight years and during that time has acquired an enviable reputation in insurance circles as a large producer, In each of these eight years he has qualified for the quarter-million field club. Making a study of life insur- ance in all its phases, Mr. Good- man has won a large personal following with his ever-ready de- sire to offer advice to policy hold- ers. His creed of serving his cli- ents rather than just selling them a policy has paid dividends by converting each client into a friend. Mr. Goodman'a offices are lo- cated in the Buhl Bldg. and his phone number is Randolph 4720. GENERAL / ADMISSION INCLUDING \ GRAND STAND RESERVED SEAT Post Time 2:30 P.M. which he was a founder. Mrs. Charles Cornell, past presi- dent of the organization and pres- ent chairman of the case com- mittee, reported on dozens of emergency relief calls handled daily by the society. The society's yearly budget of $5,000 is raised from two sources. Two thousand dollars is realized from dues and contributions. all services and contributions being made voluntarily, and each year the society gives a dinner-dance in the fall which brings in about $3,000. Mrs. William Roth, chairman of the ways and means committee, announced that the annual dinner- dance would be given on Oct, 23. Pledge cards for the dinner-dance were distributed among the mem- bers and `guests and Mrs. Roth requested that they be returned to the committee promptly.
