O n March 5th, The Detroit Bank completed 89 years of con-

tinuous banking service to the community and the state.

That the safety of depositors' funds is of first importanCe is
supported by the bank's history during these many years.

Today, the individual and business owners of more than
230,000 commercial and savings accounts reflect the stand-
