The Jennie Needle Goodman
Club met Feb. 9 at the residence
of Mrs. Mollie Gutterman of Buena
Vista Ave,
The success of the card party
held Feb. 6 at the Barium Hotel
was reported. Mrs. Morris Weiner,
president, thanked the members for
their support. A prize for having
sold the most tickets was awarded
to Mrs. Gutterman; a second prize
to Mrs. William Seltzer.
A letter from Mr. Goldman, who
is in charge of the orphanage in
Klewan, Poland, was read. An ap-
peal was made for additional funds
and also for clothing for the chil-
dren who range in ages from 6 to
16, It was decided unanimously
that money be sent to them imme-
diately, and that members secure
clothing for the children.
The next meeting is to be held
at the residence of Mrs. Louis
Kozak, a new member, 2516 Ila-
zelwood Ave.
