A special meeting of the Jewish
Women's European Welfare Or-
ganization was held Monday, Nov.
1, at Congregation Bnai Moshe,
Dexter and Lawrence. Mrs A.
Katzln, president, presided.
At this meeting letters were
read from the European orphans
who are on. the regular supporting
list, and from others, asking for
support. Checks were mailed for
rent to orphans brought over to
Detroit, rent for an orphan stu-
dent in a Hebrew college, for a
total of $185 for 36 cases.
It was decided to give $100 to
the Jewish National Fund for the
Iluleh land redemption project.
Arrangements were made for a
home cooked dairy luncheon and
bridge to be given Wednesday,
