school, in the form of a Sunday
Morning Breakfast Club. All Bar
Mitzvah boys attending the Bnai
David religious school will come
to school at 9 o'clock each Sun-
day morning to hold services.
Those attending will daven with
Tefilin and the rabbi will be Pres-
ent to explain some portion of
the prayer. Although the exist-
ing Junior Congregation at pres-
ent conducting Sabbath services
will form the nucleus of this club,
the parents of all boys belonging
to the Sunday Morning Breakfast
Club are invited to become part
of this organization as senior
members.
The services will last from 9
to 10 a. m. and from 10 to 10:30
breakfast will be served free to
all those present, permitting the
boys to attend the religious school
from 10:30 to 12 noon.
Registration for Sunday School
will open Sunday morning, Sept.
12, from 10 to 12 noon.
The Bnai David religious school
consists of a kindergarten, eight
grades and a high school depart-
ment.

lustrated by water color drawings
in the exhibition of the Index of
American Design which opened at
the Detroit Institute of Arts on
Sept. 1. The Index, the work of
the Federal Art Project, records
the native arts and crafts of
America.
WPA artists working in 25
states have now completed some
7,000 reproductions, 180 of which
compose the exhibition at the De-
troit Institute. Michigan is well
represented in the exhibition by
29 water colors of wooden figures,
puppets, and toys, Michigan's
chief contribution to American
folk art.
The exhibition will hang until
Sept. 26 and is free to the public
at all times.
