speeches by delegates and in sues-

many countries. Samuel Unter-

anti-Semitic outrages occurring in
Poland and predicted that Ameri-

economically unless programs are
halted. On the other hand he
promised help from this country
once Poland permitted equal
rights and protection of its Jew-

Messages from the Archbishops

GILBERT'S

Dear Mr. Butzel:
Everyone is speaking about your
wonderful service. I wish to speak
about the good one receives in re-,
turn for altruism.
Once upon a time I happened to
hear you laugh after a certain per-
son left your office, and right then
I understood the reaction to well
being that one gets when he is
serving his fellow man.
I trust that for another 40 years
you will have many a hearty laugh
in serving.
One of the outstanding charac-
teristics of Fred M. Butzel is that
he understands people and their
idiosyncracies, a quality that few
people possess. It is a privilege to
have him as a friend.

One of the greatest American

that should be known to every

Opened nearly twenty-five
years ago, under the auspices of
the Bnai Brith, in the city which
has been famous for its hot
springs from time immemorial,
the Leo N. Levi Memorial Hos-
pital was erected in the nation's
great health resort as a free in-

of afflicted who come to Hot
Springs in search of health. Be
cause of the hot waters with
which it is provided, the Hospital
offered special facilities for the
treatment of arthritis, neuritis
and rheumatic diseases. In addi-
tion to the Hospital proper, the
Hospital maintains the Charles
Steinberg Clinic for out-patients.
In the year 1936, the Leo N. Levi
Memorial Hospital treated 10,582
men, women and children in its
wards and clinics. The Hospital
is limited to the indigent, and,
as stated, is free. No pay patients
are admitted. Applications may
be made through an Bnai Brith
