The bride wore a princess model
of ivory satin with point Venice
lace yoke studded in seed pearls,
and long train falling in design of
a flour de lis. A coronet of orange
blossoms held the flowing veil of
illusion, which followed the length
of the train and fell to the waist
in front. She carried a white Bible
covered with lilies of the valley.
Miss Florence Rosenn, sister of
the bride, bridesmaid, was gowned
In turquoise lace, full skirt reach-
ing to a high waistline and trian-
gular neckline accented by coral
clips.
Mrs. Max Rosenn, matron of
honor, sister-in-law of the bride,
wore salmon pink chiffon With
corded applique net -jacket and
sash of aquamarine.
The bride's mother wore beige
chiffon appliqued in satin, with
short sleeves, V-neck front and
back and a draped bodice.
The bridegroom's mother was
attired in white satin, hand block-
ed in floral design.
Sam Buttman of Lynn, brother-
in-law of the bridegroom, was best
man. Ushers were Max Rosenn
and Harold Rosenn of Wilkes-
Barre; Cyrus Mittman and Harry
Becker of Lynn; Dr. Robert Wat-
kins of Orange, N. J., Charles Wal-
lack, Detroit.
Following a trip to the White
Mountains and Canada, the couple
will live in the Forrest Plaza
Apartments, Ann Arbor, where the
bridegroom is a member of the
staff of the University Hospital and
on the faculty of the medical school.
He is a graduate of Detroit High
School, University of Michigan, and
Michigan Medical School.
The bride is a graduate of
Kingston High School of Wilkes-
Barre and the University of Mich-
igan.

Isaac Witkin, a former president
and founder of the Cocoa Ex-

announced by the Palestine Gov-
ernment Include the names of sev-
eral Jews. Magistrate Philip Korn-
gruen was promoted to be a dis-
trict court judge. Magistrate Zvi
Harakabi was named registrar for
the Tel Aviv district court. The
following Jews were also named
as new magistrates: Max Kantro-
wita; Shlomo Kassan, a brother-
in-law of Dr. Alexander Dushkin,
formerly of Chicago and now pro-
fessor of education; Schneir Chia-
sin; and Herzl Rosenzweig.

NEW YORK (WNS) — Abra-
ham Wishkofsky, the oldest in-
mate of the Home of the Daugh-
ters of Jacob, and probably the
oldest Jew in the United States,
celebrated his 121st birthday by
announcing that he hopes to live
long enough to visit Palestine
"my own land" and to make a
trip to Toronto, Canada, to visit
some of his grandchildren. Born
in Poland, the aged Jew came tel
America seventy years ago. He is
still in good health.
