the reison that we ought to real-
ize nationally here at home, and
internationally, that the basic
Principles of fascism and Nazism
are deception, and duplicity. are
professing to do what they are
not doing. or professing the con-
trary of what they propose to do.
So here in this country our youth
are being poisoned with the doc-
trine which is at war with every
principle upon which these in-
stitutions rest And they will say

supervision of all departments.
During that period the business of
the Chicago brewery grew from
30,000 to 250,000 barrels per year
to become the second largest pro-
ducing brewery in the Chicago
district.
Mr. Hurley is a native of De-
troit and prior to entering the
brewery field he was connected with
one of the country's largest con-
struction and engineering com-
panies. He Is well known through-
out the brewery world and brings
to Ekhardt k Becker, a background
of well-rounded executive ability
and experience.

OBITUARY

CUSSIE BLATNIKOFF

of 936 E. Ferry Ave. 74 years
old. died on July 1. Funeral
services will be held at 2 p. m.
on Sunday, July 4 with inter-
ment in Beth Moses Cemetery.
She Is survived by her husband.
Samuel; three sons, Harry of
New Orleans, La.; Mahan and
Dare of Detroit; five daughters,
Mr. J. Groner of Los Angeles,
Mrs. D. Friedman, Mrs. L Rob-
Moon, Mrs. II. Cohen and Mrs.
M. Horwitz all of Detroit, 13
grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.

SAMUEL COOPER
of 2967 Monterey Ave., 62 yean
old, died on Monday afternoon.
Funeral services were held on
Wednesday afternoon, with burial
in Workmen's Circle Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Yetta;
a son, Theodore; three daughters,
Mrs. Jack Hyman, Mrs. Jack
Nicherman and Sadie Cooper; and
a brother, Jacob of Los Angeles.
