August 16 to 30
Third Floor-Main
Crowley-Milner's
Troops 104 and 164 of Congre-
gation Shaarey Zedek, together
with Troop 135 of Congregation
B nai David, are planning a joint
camp at Ilighland, Mich., during
the period from Aug. 16 to Aug.
30. The camp will be known as
Camp Phunique.
A meeting for prospective
campers will be held at Congrega-
tion Shaarey Zedek, Chicago and
Lawton, on Wednesday, July 29,
at 7:30 p. rn. The meeting will
consist principally of instruction
in basic camping requirements and
activities no as to enable each to
understand the basis upon which
to plan his own program. The
camp program will be formulated
to a large extent from the individ-
ual programs made out by each
scout. In this way, similar indi•
vidual desires and needs will be
welded into group activities under
experienced supervision.
The general camp supervision
will be guided by Herbert Shell
and Maurice Greenbaum, former
members of Troop 104, who are
Eagle scouts, the highest scout
advancement rank, and Reuben
Glazer, Assistant District Com-
missioner, LaSalle District, B.
