which has frequently been men-
tioned as ready to admit thou-
sands of Jewish refugees, is not
suited for Jewish colonization, it
was established by reports pre-
sented at the international con-
ference on Jewish emigration.
Delegates from 20 countries at-
tended the conference, which
adopted the following recommen-
dations: Continued efforts to find
new countries of emigration;
centralization of immigration
work; improving the social basis
of local committees; improving
the professional training prepara-
tions of immigrants; and the is-
suance of a warning against !red-
olent agencies claiming to raise
refugee funds.
