MRS. M. WETSMAN
(Miss Edythe L. Lieberman)

Bringing to a close a large
number of pre-nuptial affairs,
the marriage of Miss Edythe
Lynette Lieberman, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin D. Lieb-
erman of Chicago Blvd., to Mar-
vin Wetsman, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Wetsman of
Edison Ave., was solemnized
June 28.
A beautiful setting in the gar-
den was formed for the marriage
service, which was read by Dr.
A. M. Hershman, with an impro-
vised altar of palms and ferns
arranged at the extreme end of
the garden. The entire floral ef-
fect was carried out in pink with
peonies, roses and smilax. Tall
ivory tapers in cathedral candela-
bra, flanked the sides. "0 Prom-
ise Me" was sung just before the
bridal procession.
Miss Lieberman, who was given
in marriage by her father, wore
a Lanvin model of blush pink
made with a high round neck and
full sleeves, with a tight cuff
from the elbow to the wrist, fin-
ished with a point over the hand
outlined with tiny buttons. The
front of the long-fitted coat was
outlined with tiny scallops and
buttons, a long train extended
from the coat. Her voluminous
veil with a shoulder cape. also of
blush pink, was caught by a small
cap with a tulle band in a halo
effect, with clusters of orange
blossoms at the sides. Miss Lieb-
erman's sister, Mrs. Weisman,
wore the same veil at the occas-
ion of her marriage. The bride's
bouquet was centered with gar-
denias, surrounded by sweetheart
roses and tied with wide pink
satin streamers.
Mrs. Norman L. Weisman of
Dayton, 0., the bride's sister, at-
tended as matron of honor and
wore a long-flowing gown of
flame chiffon. She carried a
sheaf of white lillies tied with
white satin. Miss Harriette
Glickman, maid of honor and
cousin of the bride was her only
other attendant. She was gowned
in acqua and also carried white
