Many wealthy Arabs are reported fleeing Palestine to
Egypt, Lebanon and Europe as a result of threats on their
lives unless they pay specified sums to the Arab strike funds.
It is reported that mysterious source. ■

$30 a month for their services.
Tel Aviv reports that within 10 days $325,000 has been
subscribed for a small port to be built there.

JERUSALEM (WNS-Palcor Agency) –
The death of seven Arabs in Jaffa following
a clash with. police and the slaying of a Ger-
man Jew in Jerusalem ushered in the seventh
week of Palestine's unprecedented disturb-

Arabs killed by police fire since the disturbances started
to 39. One of the 29 Jewish victims of Arab attacks was
Franz Burchardt, who was shot in the head while walk-
ing through the Gvat Shaul quarter of Jerusalem. He
died on the way to a hospital. Police dogs traced his as-
