Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, considered the most brilliant orator in America, will
the principal speaker at the opening dinner of the Allied Jewish Campaign to be held on
Tuesday evening, May 12, at Hotel Statler.
Dr. Silver, Rabbi of The Temple in Cleveland, Ohio, has won world-wide
not only as a silver-tongued orator, but also as a brilliant scholar and able leader. A lead-
ing figure in the Zionist movement, Dr. Silver has served as member of the executive com-
mittee of the World Zionist Organization and of the Council of the Jewish Agency. He is
one of the outstanding leaders in the boycott movement against Nazi Germany.
As the author of a number of important books, Dr. Silver has made definite con-
tributions
