Among the First Contributors to Campaign

THE BARGAINS OF ALL TIME

Among the earliest contributors to the Allied Jewish Campaign fund this year—as in 1935—is the
Detroit Racing Association, which h•• already sent in its check for $500.
d to Maurice Aronsson, co-chairman with
In the letter accompanying the contribution, add
Harry Grant of Pre-Campaign Team 3,, Clarence E. Lehr's expression of the sentiment which prompted
the gift was one which stirred the workers of the entire pre-campaign division.
The same mail which brought the Racing Association contribution, also carried the letter and the
check illustrated above, over the signature of George W. Welsh of Grand Rapids, whose sympathetic
attitude toward our idealistic objectives is well known.
